Overview


This module enhances Odoo's Purchase application by introducing a robust compliance and certificate management system for your vendors. It allows you to track supplier quality certificates, define compliance levels for your products, and automatically check for compliance when creating or confirming a Purchase Order. This ensures that you only source products from qualified and certified suppliers, reducing risks and simplifying quality management.

Key Features



Supplier Certificate Management

✅ Create and manage a database of vendor quality certificates, including expiration dates.

✅  Receive automated reminders and notifications for expiring certificates.

✅  Store and download certificate files directly from the contact record.


Product & Supplier Compliance Levels

✅  Define specific compliance levels and types based on industry or other criteria.

✅ Assign minimum required compliance levels to products and product variants.

✅ Assign compliance levels to suppliers to certify them for specific product categories.


Automated Purchase Order Checks

✅ The system automatically verifies if a vendor meets the required compliance level for the products in a Purchase Order.

✅ Checks are triggered when sending an RFQ by email, printing an RFQ, or confirming a Purchase Order.

✅  Configure warnings or block PO confirmation for vendors with expired certificates.


Compliance Failure Management

✅ If a compliance check fails, a wizard prompts the user to take action.

✅  Users can provide a reason for overriding the compliance failure on a general or per-line basis.

✅ Maintain a clear record of compliance exceptions directly on the Purchase Order.
