Release Notes

17.0.1.5.0 - 26 Aug 2026

Summary: This release fixes a batch of importer problems across Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Mollie, retires the Revolut integration, and tightens who can see and manage imported transactions.

New Features 🎉

- Access to transaction imports is now controlled by your iHub roles.
Imported transaction lines, integrations and the manual import wizard used to be visible to every internal user. They are now limited to your iHub users and administrators: iHub users can view imported lines and run a manual import, while iHub administrators can also create and edit integrations. Please check that everyone who works with transaction imports has the right iHub role before you upgrade — anyone outside those roles will no longer see these screens.

- Revolut is no longer supported
The Revolut import and the separate Revolut payment export module have been retired and removed. If you still have the Revolut export module installed, uninstall it before upgrading, and switch any Revolut integrations to another provider or to manual import.

- A much larger automated test suite now runs before every release
The importers for Heidelpay, Mollie, PayPal, Shopify, SIX and Stripe are now checked against recorded real-world provider responses, so this kind of import problem is caught before it reaches you. Nothing changes in day-to-day use.

Bug Fixes 🔨

- Stripe payouts import again
Stripe settlements had stopped creating bank statement lines after a change in Stripe's software library. Imports now work again, and when a payment carries no order reference the transaction description is used instead.

- Reversed PayPal payments are no longer skipped
Reversed PayPal transactions were being dropped silently and never appeared on your bank statement. They are now imported alongside successful and pending ones. Denied and failed payments are still excluded, because no money changed hands.

- Shopify test payments no longer land on live bank statements
Test-mode Shopify orders (for example Bogus Gateway payments) were being imported into production. They are now filtered out on production integrations, while still importing on staging so you can keep testing.

- Mollie imports no longer stop on payments without deductions
An import could fail part-way through when Mollie returned a payment with no deduction details. Those payments now import normally.

- Mollie settlements and multi-account payouts import correctly
Certain Mollie payloads without a context block caused the import to stop with an error. These now import as expected.

- PayPal imports no longer miss transactions
When a PayPal import spanned several pages of results, the first page was requested twice and some transactions were missed. All pages are now fetched correctly.

- PayPal transactions with a different date format import again
Some PayPal transactions came back with a timestamp format the importer could not read, which stopped the import. Both formats are now handled.

- Fee lines now show the integration name
Bank statement lines created for provider fees were labelled with a placeholder instead of the actual integration name. They now read correctly, for example "Stripe fees".

18.0.1.1.3 - 26 Aug 2026

Summary: A maintenance release that repairs transaction imports for Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Mollie, and keeps test payments out of your live bank statements.

Improvements 🔬

- A large automated test suite now covers every payment provider we import from (Heidelpay, Mollie, PayPal, Shopify, SIX and Stripe), using real recorded provider responses. This means import problems like the ones fixed below get caught before a release reaches you.

Bug Fixes 🔨

- Stripe payouts import again. Stripe transactions had stopped coming through after a change on Stripe's side, so no bank statement lines were created. Imports now work as expected.

- Reversed PayPal transactions are no longer missing. Payments that PayPal marked as reversed were silently skipped, leaving statements incomplete. They are now imported, while denied and failed payments stay out because no money actually moved.

- Test payments no longer appear on live bank statements. Shopify test-mode (Bogus Gateway) payments were being imported into production. They are now skipped in production and still imported on staging systems, where you want to see them.

- Mollie imports no longer stop with an error. An import could fail entirely when a Mollie transaction had no deductions on it. Those transactions now import normally.

- Fee lines show the right name. Bank statement lines for fees showed a placeholder text instead of the integration name; they now read, for example, "Stripe fees".

19.0.1.1.0 - 26 Aug 2026

Summary: A stability release for the Transaction Importer that fixes payment imports and sales-order matching for Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Mollie, and tightens who in your company can see and run transaction imports.

Improvements 🔬

- Tighter access control
Access to transaction imports is no longer open to every internal user. Staff in the ihub user group can view imported transactions and start a manual import, while ihub administrators can also configure the payment provider integrations. Please check that the right people are in the right group after upgrading, otherwise they will lose access to the importer.

- A much larger safety net
The module now ships an extensive automated test suite that replays the real responses of all six payment providers, including pagination and unusual or empty data. Several of the fixes below were found by this suite before they could affect you, and it guards against the same problems coming back.

Bug Fixes 🔨
- Stripe payouts are imported again. Stripe settlements were failing to create bank statement lines because of outdated handling that no longer matched the current Stripe service. They now import correctly (#124).
- Refunds and chargebacks from PayPal are no longer lost. Reversed PayPal transactions were being silently skipped during import and are now included.

- Shopify test payments stay out of your live books. Payments made in Shopify's test mode were being imported into production; they are now imported only into staging integrations, where you want to see them.

- Mollie imports no longer stop unexpectedly. Imports could fail on transactions with no deductions, on an empty result from Mollie, or on transactions with missing context information. All three cases are now handled, and error notifications are only raised when Mollie actually returns an error rather than on every successful request.

- Invoices that are already "in payment" can be matched again. Invoices being processed by Odoo's payment provider were excluded from sales-order matching, so their transactions stayed unreconciled. They are now included.

- Better automatic matching of Stripe payments to sales orders. When a Stripe transaction does not carry an order reference in its metadata, the importer now falls back to the transaction description to find the order. Matching was also fixed for several cases that previously failed, including orders without a linked customer (#119).
